APRIL 15, 2013 | By Shira Miller, M.D. | This Monday, April 15th, is the last day to contribute to your HSA (Health Savings Account) for 2012. An HSA is like an IRA for health care, and is a great TAX-FREE way to pay for medical expenses-particularly for services which are not covered by insurance. The 2012 contribution limits are $3100 for individuals, and $6250 for families.
So, stop reading this email, and call your accountant and/or insurance agent right now! They will probably be working this weekend. 🙂
