Dr. Reuben Elovitz Joins Concierge Medicine Practice
DALLAS, TX–(Marketwire – Feb 25, 2013) – Cooper Clinic Platinum, the concierge medicine practice at Cooper Clinic in Dallas, is expanding its physician team with the addition of Reuben Elovitz, MD. Also known as direct medicine, Cooper Clinic Platinum members have access to their own personal physician to address preventive and primary care needs.
Cooper Clinic launched the Platinum practice in 2009, well ahead of the growing trend of concierge medicine practices starting as a result of the passage of the Affordable Care Act.

Dr. Elovitz was most recently an internal medicine physician at Baylor University Medical Center and served as Medical Director for HealthTexas Laboratory, a branch of Baylor Health Care System. He previously served as an internal medicine physician for the Dallas Stars hockey team. He graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Elovitz is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Platinum is a fee-based service that requires members to carry catastrophic coverage. There are four tiers of pricing. Packages are available for adults age 25-64, Medicare and non-Medicare packages for 65+, dependents age 12-24, families and groups.
