In a “mobile first” world, countless startups specializing in nursing, insurance and hospice are using smartphones as a means of connecting with patients … Better PT Inc. fills that void. The New York-based startup officially launched in March, following in the footsteps of various “Uberized” services. But unlike many of the other on-demand companies out there, Better PT’s goal is not to disrupt or provide instant gratification. Instead, it looks to solve major problems that patients in need of physical therapy often face.
