Health care spending represents nearly one-fifth of our economy, yet our life expectancy is lagging far behind other developed nations. Meanwhile, we spend a far greater percentage of our nation’s wealth on health care than any other country on the face of the planet! My belief is that we need far more radical change that what’s being talked about to improve health care outcomes for consumers, give us more choice as consumers and to do something about price.
