The CMT Concierge Medicine FORUM (learn more, agenda, speakers, sponsors – www.ConciergeMedicineFORUM.com) event reflects some of the most significant ideas and issues that touch all parts of Concierge Medicine and free market healthcare delivery. Physicians, Specialists, Hospitalists, Surgeons, RNs, PAs, FNPs and innovators in healthcare are invited and encourage to attend. Our goal is to highlight topics that will shape the future practice of medicine.
“I have the privilege of introducing Dr. Bobinet,” says Michael Tetreault, editor of Concierge Medicine Today. “Besides being a highly accomplished physician-scientist, writer and national speaker, Kyra founded a neuroscience-based design firm, engagedIN. Kyra began this firm with a unique vision. She has designed behavior change programs, big data algorithms, billion dollar products, mobile health apps, and evidence-based studies in mind-body and metabolic medicine. She has founded several healthcare start-ups, spanning behavior health, population health, and mobile health. All of her designs, whether for at-risk teens, seniors or as part of employee wellness programs for some of the largest and most well-respected companies in the world, are rooted in the belief that true caring is our greatest value. Now that’s a vision clearly tied in with what could be and should be in healthcare and more accurately, what is happening in Concierge Medicine.”
Dr. Bobinet received the 2015 Innovator Award from Harvard where she received her Masters in Public Health. She earned her medical degree at UCSF School of Medicine. Dr. Bobinet teaches health-engagement design at Stanford University’s School of Medicine’s AIM Lab | Behavior-design firm, engagedIN, uses the latest neuroscience research on human behavior to help healthcare and wellness-minded organizations develop meaningful, results-oriented behavior-change interventions, health websites, devices, and mobile apps.
“One of the most significant disruptions in healthcare delivery will come increasingly more consumers expecting healthcare to offer the same convenience, access, and customer-centered experiences they receive from the restaurant, retail, or mobile technology industries,” said Dr. Bobinet, “Concierge practice in all of its forms will naturally increase in demand and, just like all innovations that start with early adopters, it will mature and expand to more patient segments in 2019 because of increased demand and increased interest. In this growing market, patient engagement and behavior change will be requisite skills for physician-entrepreneurs to offer value to their patients.”
Registration is now open for the event, which will be held on Friday – Saturday, October 26-27, 2018 at the Forsyth Conference Center in Cumming, GA (just north of Atlanta, GA) with two optional pre-conference workshop events on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 10:30-4:30 p.m. ET.
Dr. Bobinet teaches at Stanford School of Medicine on patient engagement and empowerment, and health design with Dr. Larry Chu, founder of MedicineX. She has studied in Dr. BJ Fogg’s Persuasive Tech Lab at Stanford, the founder of “behavior design”. Dr. Bobinet received her Masters in Public Health at Harvard University, specializing in Healthcare Management, Technology-enabled Behavior Change, and Population Health Management. She received her medical degree from the UCSF School of Medicine.
