What is the Boston Hope Medical Center?
Boston Hope is a 1,000-bed medical center for those recovering from Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). In a four-way collaboration, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the City of Boston, Partners HealthCare and Boston Health Care for the Homeless are managing the facility. Care for patients will start on Friday April 10.
Who is needed to help Partners HealthCare staff the facility?
Partners HealthCare is looking to hire care providers of all types, including registered nurses, advanced practice providers, physical and occupational therapists, pharmacists, and healthcare providers with experience in respiratory care. There may be opportunities for others who have medical training and could float to support patients.
What qualifications are required?
If you join us in a licensed, credentialed role, you must have an active Massachusetts license or be eligible for credentials through the Massachusetts emergency credentialing process. Some roles do not require a license.
Where would I work and what are the hours?
Paid shifts will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Shifts will be 12 hours, from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am. You must be willing to work night shifts. Parking is free and if needed overnight accommodations are available at no charge.
