Findings In this randomized clinical trial of 316 participants, the intervention did not demonstrate a significant difference in systolic or diastolic blood pressures at 6 or 12 months between the intervention and control groups; however, both groups experienced blood pressure reduction. Compared with the control group, participants in the intervention group demonstrated significant behavior changes, including increased physical activity, reduction in dietary sodium intake, and increased frequency in home blood pressure monitoring.
