Out-of-Pocket Costs and Outpatient Visits Among Patients With Cancer in High-Deductible Health Plans (JAMA Oncology)

Findings of this study suggest that patients with cancer enrolled in HDHPs experience substantial out-of-pocket increases and appear to prioritize visits to oncologists while possibly decreasing primary care and noncancer specialist visits.
