A proven growth and transformation leader, Schaefer will lead MDVIP’s enterprise marketing strategy with a focus on strengthening the brand, accelerating member demand for affiliated physicians, and building a scalable, performance-driven marketing engine. Her appointment supports MDVIP’s continued evolution as the national leader in supporting physicians to provide personalized, preventive primary care, helping more people experience healthcare built on stronger physician-patient relationships.

Schaefer holds more than 20 years of leadership experience across marketing, product, brand, and P&L ownership in highly regulated industries. Most recently, she served as General Manager and Chief Experience Officer of Laurel Road, a digital bank and brand of KeyBank serving healthcare professionals nationwide. Originally hired as Chief Marketing Officer, she assumed full P&L responsibility and helped scale the business several times over; growing deposits more than 30 times in under two years, expanding lending originations, and evolving the company from a monoline fintech into a full-suite digital bank serving healthcare professionals nationwide. Earlier in her career, Schaefer held senior leadership roles at American Express and American Express Global Business Travel, where she led global marketing initiatives, modernized marketing operations, and partnered closely with sales and product teams to drive growth across international markets. She is currently an advisor to Titan, an AI platform for banking, supporting go-to-market strategy and product innovation.
