CMT SPOTLIGHT: NJ Internist, Dr. Camille Green, Reimagines Primary Care With New Prevention-Focused Practice and Women’s Health Expertise, an MDVIP-affiliated primary care practice.

For Dr. Green, the move reflects both her frustration with a healthcare model that rewards volume over connection and her belief that prevention works best when physicians can truly know their patients. She says the MDVIP model aligned with how she has long wanted to practice, combining evidence-based medicine, wellness, and a deeper physician-patient relationship.

BRANCHBURG, NJ – July 15, 2026 – Internal medicine physician Dr. Camille Green is opening an MDVIP-affiliated primary care practice in Branchburg, bringing a prevention-focused, relationship-based model to a community she has come to know deeply. After a decade practicing internal medicine and caring for patients across Hunterdon County and the surrounding region, Dr. Green is opening her new practice with a clear goal: to create a setting where patients feel heard, supported, and cared for before small issues become larger health problems.

Dr. Green’s path into medicine began with a deeply personal experience. As a child, she watched physicians save her younger brother’s life after he was diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s disease, an experience that first showed her the impact a doctor can have on an entire family. Later, after beginning her career in radiation oncology, she had a moment of clarity on her first patient, realizing she was drawn less to treating disease after the fact than to understanding the full picture, preventing illness earlier, and helping solve the larger medical puzzle for each patient. That realization led her back to internal medicine and toward the prevention-focused, problem-solving approach that continues to define her work today.

In New Jersey, where chronic conditions continue to place heavy strain on patients and the healthcare system, strong primary care plays an important role in helping people manage risks earlier and more consistently. Dr. Green’s new practice is designed to support that kind of care through continuity, prevention, and closer follow-up, particularly for adults navigating chronic conditions, cardiovascular risk, and women’s health concerns.

“I want this practice to be a place where patients feel known, heard, and cared for before problems turn into crises,” said Dr. Green. “Whether I’m helping someone manage blood pressure, understand cardiovascular risk, navigate perimenopause, or stay ahead of diabetes, my goal is to keep this community well through prevention, trust, and care that looks at the whole person.”

Dr. Green brings a particularly strong focus on women’s health to her new practice. Over the course of her career, she has seen how often conditions related to perimenopause, menopause, hormone health, and cardiovascular risk in women can be overlooked or rushed in traditional settings. That led her to pursue additional training in women’s health and menopause care, work she now integrates alongside preventive internal medicine for both women and men.

That prevention-first mindset continues to shape how she practices today. Dr. Green is particularly interested in helping patients address chronic disease risk earlier, with attention to nutrition, inflammation, cardiometabolic health, and the kinds of warning signs that can be missed when care becomes too rushed or fragmented.

Now opening her new practice in Branchburg, Dr. Green says she is especially proud to continue caring for a community she and her family have grown to love.
