Job Requirements:

We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing practice in the Greater Boston Area / Wellesley, MA.

This role is ideal for a physician who values long term relationship-based medicine, takes an integrative approach to the practice of evidence-based primary care, and has experience or training in lifestyle medicine and/or functional medicine.

The expected patient panel size is approximately 300 patients, allowing physicians the time, resources, and clinical support to deliver thoughtful, comprehensive care without the pressures of volume-based medicine.

Physician work at Synergy is intentionally enhanced by a robust multidisciplinary care model, enabling clinicians to focus on high-impact medical decision-making while collaborating with an exceptional team.

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Massachusetts
• Alignment with Synergy Private Health’s mission, values, and culture
• Deep interest, training, or experience in lifestyle medicine, functional medicine, integrative medicine, or preventive care strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• A collaborative, patient-centered, growth mindset
• 5 + years of clinical experience preferred Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive integrative adult primary care including all aspects of preventive care and healthspan optimization, chronic disease management, and acute care
• Develop long-term, therapeutic relationships with a defined patient panel (~300 patients)
• Practice evidence-based medicine while thoughtfully incorporating integrative, functional, and lifestyle-focused approaches
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including:
  • Nurses and Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs) o Health coaches including behavioral change experts
  • Registered dietitians and nutrition specialists o Fitness, exercise, and movement professionals
  • Integrative practitioners including Mind-Body and stress-management specialists
• Utilize embedded lifestyle medicine and wellness resources, including:
  • An on-site teaching kitchen to support nutrition education and culinary medicine
  • An embedded fitness center for 1:1 patient exercise training and movement-based interventions
  • A growing suite of online member engagement offerings, including digital education, coaching, and wellness programming
• Participate in collaborative care planning, case discussions, and clinical innovation initiatives
• Maintain a growth mindset and contribute to a positive culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and patient-centered excellence
