San Diego Sports Medicine and Family Health Center (SDSM) is seeking an experienced, board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our established concierge medicine program in San Diego.

This is an opportunity for a physician who values the time to truly know their patients, provide highly personalized care, and build long-term relationships without the volume pressures of a traditional primary care practice.

SDSM is one of San Diego’s largest independently owned primary care group practices, serving the community for more than 40 years. Our multidisciplinary group includes Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Executive Wellness, Concierge Medicine, Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, and Firefighter Wellness.

Our concierge program is already established, allowing the incoming physician to focus on caring for patients and developing relationships rather than building a concierge practice from the ground up. The physician will have the support and resources of a large, established medical group while maintaining the personalized approach and physician autonomy that make concierge medicine rewarding.

The position includes comprehensive primary care with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine, wellness, continuity of care, and proactive management of patients’ health. Experience or a strong interest in women’s health is particularly desirable.

Who We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician who enjoys relationship-based medicine and providing a high level of personalized service to patients.

Prior concierge, membership-based, executive health, or similar high-touch primary care experience is strongly preferred. We are particularly interested in a physician who understands the expectations of concierge patients and values accessibility, communication, continuity, and comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate will also:

• Have excellent clinical and communication skills
• Be committed to preventive medicine and whole-person care
• Enjoy developing long-term relationships with patients
• Have experience or a strong interest in women’s health
• Value physician autonomy while enjoying the benefits of a collaborative group practice
• Work well with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and specialists
• Have experience with Epic EHR or be comfortable learning the system

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Base Salary: $260,000–$280,000
• Production incentive bonus
